Young Coalition Professional Group

Young Coalition Professional Group ("YCPG”), the young members group of the Hong Kong Coalition of Professional Services ("HKCPS”) organised the Joint Professional Career Day 2015, which is co-organised with the Education Bureau, on 21st November 2015, Saturday at True Light Girls’ College, 54A Waterloo Road, Yau Ma Tei, Kowloon, Hong Kong.

 

The Joint Professional Career Day 2015 is organised for Form 4 to Form 6 students in Hong Kong. This is the first year that YCPG organised this half-day program which introduced to the younger generation of Hong Kong the educational requirements and career development opportunities of different professions in Hong Kong.  

It was our honour to have invited Mr. Eddie Ng Hak-kim, SBS, JP, Secretary for Education as the officiating guest.  Also, Dr. York Chow Yat-ngok, GBS, JP, Chairperson of Equal Opportunities Commission, delivered a keynote speech on "Success, passion and dreams: How to select a career path that fits your dreams?” and shared his profound professional experiences with participating students.  In addition to the keynote address, practitioners from 11 member professional bodies of HKCPS were there to share their experiences during the parallel sessions.
